Our story
With a passion for photography and people, Mary Braunsdorf founded In-Focus Photography in 1991. We started from humble beginnings, working out of our home and then in a small studio space we built in our garage.
As business and referrals grew, Jerry began photographing alongside his wife in 1995 and we soon moved to our current studio space in St. Francis. Over the years, all five Braunsdorf children had their first job helping out at In-Focus.
Husband and wife team
Mary and Jerry continue to excel in their craft, winning national awards for their fine art photography. Mary loves inspiring the people she photographs and capturing creative imagery and Jerry’s sense of humor and inventive style helps everyone relax as he takes interactive images with priceless expressions.
Meet our team
Mary Braunsdorf
Mary is the founder and a lead photographer at In-Focus Photography. She also manages sales and marketing. When she is not photographing, she likes to spend time with her grandchildren, work in her garden, or relax with a book and a nice cup of coffee.
Jerry Braunsdorf
Jerry is the other lead photographer at In-Focus. He is known as the “pet whisperer” for his outstanding work photographing pets. He also keeps the In-Focus grounds looking beautiful. In his free time, Jerry likes kayaking, golfing, and spending time with his family.
Stephanie Amaya
As our creative lead, Stephanie works on editing, retouching, social media, and design. When not working, she loves photographing and blogging. In her spare time, she likes visiting local restaurants with her husband and spending time with her dog.
